I've pre-ordered the iPhone XS about a week before release which was last Friday but I haven't received anything as of yet!

Is there anyway I can check the status of my order apart from the general reply of up to 6 weeks; especially given the fact that they are available in store & online and I have been denied a device because I was an upgrade customer not a new customer which seems a bit unfair for your longstanding customers!!


Another issue that arises from not having the device on time is that my new contract doesn't start until I receive my new device which in turn means that I am paying for more than 24 months per contract/device upgrade! Is there anyway that I can start my new contract now until I receive my new device?
