Landline Not Working

Hi,

I cannot use my landline. Get an engaged tone if I try to dial out. People dialling me get a ringing tone but it doesn't ring my end.

The broadband is working fine. I unplugged the router and connected phone lead into wall socket on its own but still get same problem.

Have no credit in mobile so this appears to be the only way to report fault.

Hi Robbie,

I managed to get through to vodafone technical on Thu 5th Jan. They confirmed a fault in my area (071 98) which they were working on already and said they would text when line back up and working.

It is now the Sun 8th and I have knowingly been without a landline since Tue 3rd (6 days). Can you advise on how long more I will have to wait? Also, will I be reimbursed for line rental for this time as I am unable to use the service I am paying for?
