Hi Marie,

You can try using the setup wizard on Vodafone Live!:

Hi Jaf,

I have just tried that and it says my phone is not suported by that. Do I have to sign up to anything to get it working?

Hi Jaf,

In that case instead of clicking on Wizard you can select the MyMail link, and then select "add mail account", you'll be able to select your email provider and then follow the instructions to finish the setup.

Alternatively find below the settings for email client on your handset (the example below is for Vodafone mail, so from point 19 onward use you own email settings):

E-mail Settings
1. From the main menu, select 'Settings’.
2. Select ‘Application Settings'.
3. Select ‘Browser profiles’.
4. Press ‘Options’ and ‘Create’.
5. Set 'Name' to "Vodafone MISP".
6. Set ‘Bearer’ to ‘UMTS’.
7. Set ‘Access name’ to “isp.vodafone.ie”.
8. Set ‘Auth type’ to ‘Normal’.
9. Set ‘User ID’ to “vodafone”.
10. Set ‘Password’ to “vodafone”.
11. Set ‘Protocol to ‘HTTP’.
12. Leave ‘Homepage URL’ blank.
13. Leave ‘Proxy Address’ to blank.
14. Press ‘Save’ to save profile.
15. From the Main Menu, select ‘Messages’.
16. Select ‘Email Inbox’.
17. Select the ‘Email setup wizard’.
18. An onscreen message asks if you want to continue. Press ‘Yes’.
19. Select ‘Vodafone Mail’.
20. Set ‘Account name’ to “Vodafone Mail”.
21. Press ‘Next’.
22. Enter your vodafone.ie email address.
23. Enter your My Vodafone password.
24. Press ‘Next’.
25. Set ‘Incoming email server type’ to ‘POP3’.
26. Set ‘Incoming email server’ to “pop.vodafone.ie”.
27. Set ‘Outgoing email server’ to “mail.vodafone.ie”.
28. Press ‘Next’.
29. Email setup is now complete.
