Error when redeeming cherry points

Ever since we got the message that they are getting rid of cherry points I've been trying to swap mine for a bluetooth speaker. I definitely have enough points, it lets me get to the details page but when I click redeem it comes up with the same error each time.

"We're sorry, an error has occurred

Something went wrong and we were unable to process your order.

If this is the first error you might want to go back and try again.

(UNIQUE_ERROR_CODE :LOY-PO-12 )"

I have contacted the live chat and sent a pm to a mod here but had no luck.

Is anyone else having the same problem? I don't want my cherry points to go to waste if I can't redeem them in time.
