I'm back again!

I have a new phone now (Moto) and it's configured to use live.vodafone.ie, plus a have deleted the hs. APN.

Can I try a tether again now to see if it's working for me now?

Yep, cookie is spot on, can you please test this on your new handset and I can review your usage on my system? We will need you to provide us with the date and time of the test once this has been completed.

Ok I switched on tether between 13:07 - 13:11 and tried it.
How does that look on your end Ashling?

In the meantime I'll keep an eye on my balance to see if there's anything charged.

Hi there, same issue here. I have a galaxy A5 2017, just deleted the two other APNs I found (leaving live.vodafone.com), and have rebooted.

Could my account please be updated, and any chance of a refund?

Hi there,

 

If you are being charged for tethering your mobile data, this would be down the connection point your handset is using. If you go to your handset settings and access your APN's, you should have the option to manually delete the hs.vodafone.ie and isp.vodafone.ie APN from your device. Once these APN's have been removed, your handset should be forced to use the live.vodafone.com APN when tethering your mobile data allowance - data usage over the live APN will automatically be deducted from your monthly allowance.
