Cancelling my monthly bill

I called 4 months ago to disconnect my number, this never happened and I ended up paying for all the months until today. I now live abroad and the 'international customer care' number hangs up on me. I would like to terminate my monthly pay as I'm 4 or 5 months over my contract. What's the best way of going about it? Thanks.
