No Phone & Broadband service now for over 24 hours, have requested callbacks twice and messaged on Twitter, but no response from Vodafone. Could someone help please, looks like a line fault.

Mods wont be back until tomorrow to help. You could try live chat. To use live chat click support at the top of this page then choose the servuce you need supprot with (bill or pre pay. etc..). Click CHAT icon that pops up in the bottom right hand corner of the next screen.

Thanks Cookie, I have tried the Live Chat, but it invariably says  "All agents are busy at the moment. Please try again later."

I managed to speak to someone on 1907 this morning and after some tests they are sending out a crew to investigate the line, so no further action needed for now.

Still no service today, doing a little investigation myself via the router, the symptoms seem to align more with the DSL being turned off at the exchange rather than a line fault.

I wonder........I did sign up for SIRO Gigabit a few months ago, however due to difficulties with running the new line to my house we agreed to cancel....Is it possible Vodafone cancelled my DSL line at some point in the process and then forgot to un-cancel it?

Was called by an Eircom Engineer from the local Exchange today to say they had found a problem with my DSL Port at the exchange (disconnected?) and he had fixed it, sure enough service is restored, I guess I will never find out whose fault it was Eircom or Vodafone?

Just wanted to ask a question please. I have broadband. It constantly drops every few minutes. We had an engineer out who said everything was fine at the entry point and that it must be a problem within the house/wiring etc ..... is this what you were experiencing? How did you get an Eircom engineer to come out? We don’t have a landline but there is a phone socket where the modem is plugged into. Any help would be appreciated. It’s so frustrating

No service again since I switched to bill pay from pay as you go. I can't ring or receive a call or use data! So frustrating and the live chat is always busy. What a joke of a phone network!

Hello

I would like to express my dissatisfaction once again about the service I have received with Vodafone.

  • Each time I try and log on to my personal account on Vodafone.ie to pay my bill (which I need to do every month) I have issues logging in. either my username/password are not accepted or it take 15 minutes for a page to load. If you want to offer people the choice to log on and pay their bills online, why is it so difficult to do so? It is extremely frustrating.

  • It is near impossible to speak to a customer service agent at your company. I was trying for over an hour this morning to navigate the website and find an email address/live chat to get my issue resolved as quickly as possible. It is not convenient for me to take long personal phone-calls while at work which is what I ended up doing as after up to 45 minutes searching, I could NOT find an email address conveniently on the website or locate the live chat function.

  • As you can imagine I was already frustrated at the above. I then called 1907 and was re-directed three to four times. And each time I was put on hold for a minimum of 5 minutes. As I said previously, it is not convenient for me to take this amount of time out of my job to wait on hold. This is the reason why I prefer the online methods of contacting customer care as opposed to phone. But it seems the service is terrible either way with Vodafone.

  • The person I was patched through to did not seem to fully understand what was going on or offer any real solution. Only for me to call in to a Vodafone store.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received since signing up for the mobile broadband device. It has never been easy even to do something as simple as pay a bill or find a method to contact customer service that doesn't involve waiting on the phone for 40 minutes and getting no resolution.  I have resorted to posting this here and I do not know what else to do to try and contact you.

I would also like to add that I was at times directed to the UK website by google and was shocked to notice how easy it is to navigate and use in comparison to the Irish one.

Regards,

Sinead

Totally agree... absolutely never had such trouble trying to get hold of someone on 1907 have spent hours now trying to sort out loss of service... shouldn't have been suspended at the weekend if they have no support. If anyone knows how you can get through to someone to speak with someone easily can they let me know. At this point it's more complicated than choosing automated options on a phone....

We have responded to you in a separate thread.

@CathyT - is there anything we can assist you with here?

Thanks,
