Mine is B227. I'm experiencing very long connectingtime after windows start.

Sounds like a Windows issue. Maybe have a look for spyware, or a lot of programs running at startup in Task Manager or msconfig. The router should be 'connected' to the internet all the time. it's up to Windows to connect to the router. I assume the router itself is powered on all the time, yea? Because the router takes about 5 minutes to power up.

Yea, mine's the B227 firmware too, I think it's the latest one, don't know how it got there, I was on B218 the last time I checked! The download from here is B214... Maybe they update automatically?

 

Is it the same when connecting to wifi as well as ethernet? Might be worth updating your modem drivers in windows, and resetting the router.

PC is connected via cable, but it's a pc problem, other devices work good. Can't find the drivers though.

Hello,

 

After the update, I cannot change WAN settings. How I can change WAN user name and pasword? I am using another provider fibre. I had no problem before the update but now even I login as admin I can't change anything.

Mods are unlikely to be able to assist you use vodafone equipment with another provider. As per T&C's:

This Vodafone Broadband Modem remains the property of Vodafone and may only be used in conjunction with Vodafone broadband products and must comply with all manufacturers’ instructions and any other reasonable instruction provided by Vodafone.

As Cookie notes, the router should be returned to Vodafone if the account is closed - a charge may be applied if it's not sent back.
We do not offer support for setting up devices with another providers services, apologies.

Hi there,
This firmware version is not from Vodafone Ireland, and cannot be supported.
We may be able to load a Vodafone Ireland firmware version onto the device, however this would wipe any settings you have configured (we can't guarantee that we'll be able to do this, however we will check if it's possible).

hey daz ı upgrade my modem as you said.then ı clicked restore default settings.then The modem cant connnect anymore.How can I downgrade to the basic software.Please urgently help me.I cant do anything.

also now ı tried to downgrade version by using maintenance device firmware upgrade, when ı click to firmware upgrade it automatically goes to the home page and nothing happened.I also tried reset but not works
