You cannot get through on that number from abroad without an Irish Vodaphone number. Operatives need to be trained not to keep giving this number out.
Hi, yes I wasn't actually able to contact Vodafone that way because it's asking for my vodafone mobile number, which I don't have
Instead I used the chat functionality. I was promised a call back, but that hasn't happened yet.

I do have to say though that the customer service is not great.
First i sent an email to an email address given by a mod in another thread, a week later I get an email that it's the wrong email address but no alternative.
I post here, get a phone number i can't call.
Use the chat and the advice I will be called back, which didn't happen either.
Now I have a new email address.
