Have tried removing the battery several times, and under Manage Connections, mobile network box is selected. I can't get any support from Vodafone, emailed earlier today no response, phoned the customer support desk and there's a three day backlog for support!

Can you remove the battery from the device while it is turned on. Leave the battery out for a bout 10 seconds and then replace it for me please.
Once the phone powers up send your self an email to test & please let me know if it's resolved for you now.
