Technical fault - 01/09/16

We are aware that some of our customers are currently experiencing intermittent issues with their mobile and data service, this is due to a technical fault.  We are working to restore service as soon as possible.  We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you posted.

 

***UPDATE 5:15PM***

 

Some Vodafone customers experienced intermittent voice and data issues earlier today. The root cause has been identified, a fix has been put in place and service is being restored. Customers’ full service should resume over the next few hours. Vodafone apologises for any inconvenience caused.



***UPDATE 6:15PM***

 

For customers still experiencing this issue a handset reboot may be required.

There isn't much "intermittent" about it - I consistently have had no coverage at all for the past 2 hours.

Its very frustrating!!!! there doesn't seem to anything available either internet or phone line.... all dead.... and no info available from vodafone!!! cant contact anyone even via live web chat!!!

Not good enough!!

Some people have this thing called wifi from different providers, not sure if you've heard of it but its actually great.

I haven't been able to make or receive calls for 3.5 hours, any idea of a timeframe for when everything will be working again? Also, judging by social media reaction, it seems that most rather than some (if not all) customers are being affected!

Apparently some data centre went down and its not just Vodafone which lost transmission.

Lets hope for a fix soon.

"Intermittent" ??? It has been hours already, I missed a number of important calls. I beleive Vodafone will get sued for this.

ISDN and analogue landlines have been down for about 2 hours now for this business and the neighbour in Offaly. Voice calls only though. DSL is still working on the fax line, but voice does not.

It's not like it happens every week. First time I've ever had an issue. Peoples frustration is understandable but just have to wait till its fixed.

Hi vodaphone, you are a big disappointment in my life at the moment!Not only have you failed to deliver a proper home sevice, now i can't use my mobile during working hours!GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER,can't wait for my contract to expire.

I have not been able to make any calls from my phone since thursday, this is rubbish.

Vodafone please wake up to your resposibility.

My Business is dying please.
