Re:HTC wifi

Well I got my phone back today and all seems ok so far. Strange thing was that throughout the whole process they could never tell me what the status of the phone was even after it was delivered back, they didn't know it was on its way back.
Anyway either way the info available while in repair was poor from HTC but they seem to have fixed it within ten working days.

AnnMarie can you still find out for me if that same repair can be done here though because I have a friend on Vodafone who also has this issue and is waiting for Vodafone to be able to fix it.

thanks

Chimo

Re:HTC wifi

Did you check the software version on your phone? They might have changed it....

Re:HTC wifi

so they must have done the hardware fix on it. on XDA it shows what actually is wrong. the wifi antenna is on the cover and the springs in the phone which press against it go weak and a gap appears between the springs and the antenna plate which disconnects the antenna plate from the springs. its the springs which are connected to the main board. so they have now put things on the springs to stop them getting weak.

Hi Larry,
