Vodafone ID not accepting my number?

Hi I recently switched to Vodafone from Three and I have been attempting to purchase a Spotify add on for my phone, however it keeps asking for my number for a Vodafone ID but when I input it it says your number is not a Vodafone number? can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi there,
Could you try this over mobile data, rather than WiFi - it should then recognise your number.

I have the same issue. I am using my data but I kept my 083 number from 3. Could this be the cause of the issue?

Having the same issue. Not recognising my 085 number over mobile data all of a sudden even though I've been with vodafone for nearly a year at this stage. Can't get through the 2-step security process. Was working fine previously.

Hi, I am also having this issue. I have an 083 number but I have been a Vodafone customer for over a year, recently changed plan to Red Connect and wanted to add the Spotify option but it won't allow me passed the 2 step verification process. I am accessing the Vodafone website on a laptop and not my phone. Is this issue being resolved? Thanks, Leanne.

I have the same problem. I already tried over mobile data, but doesn't work.

 

"If you are a Vodafone mobile customer you may have entered your number incorrectly, please check and try again"

Mods wont be back until Monday to help. You could try live chat. To use live chat click talk to us at the bottom of this page then choose whether you're on bill or pre pay. It should pop up then. If Chrome browser acts up then try a different browser as some versions don't appear to play well with the links.

I am also experiencing the same issue & cannot access Spotify Premium despite paying for it throuhg Vodafone X. Do you know when this issue will be resolved?

I have the same issue as well... I have been with Vodafone for the last few months with a 083 number. I was using Spotify with vodafone X without any issue but it does not allow me to pass 2-step process. (w/ mobile data)
