Need help with reactivating my SIM card

 

Hi, 

 

My sim was recently deactivated for not topping up within a certain period, the calls were forwarded to another number so I didn't see the reminder texts.

 

I need this number as it's used for a load of printed business related things which will cost a fortune to reprint! I've checked online and it seens that there is a 6 month period to have the number reactivated after the 8 month period of not topping up.

 

I was hoping that someone would be able to activate my number again.

Could someone please look into this for me?

The number could be gone. Vodafone can reuse numbers that have been inactive for long periods as per their T&C's:

Numbers and SIM Card
You shall not have any proprietary rights whatsoever in any mobile phone number allocated to you by Vodafone. Vodafone reserves the right at any time to alter or replace a mobile phone number allocated to you or any other name, code or number whatsoever associated with the Service.

You may continue to receive Calls for a period of 8 months (or such other period as Vodafone may advise from time to time) following the date on which Call credit is last applied to your account.

If the equipment remains inactive or no call credit is applied for a period of 8 months or such other period as Vodafone may advise, all unused Call credit will be lost.

 

Mods wont be back until Monday to help. You could try live chat. To use live chat click talk to us at the bottom of this page then choose whether you're on bill or pre pay. It should pop up then. If Chrome browser acts up then try a different browser as some versions don't appear to play well with the links.

Could I please as you to check my number, because I am not able to top up - it gives me the message the numer is not valid although I can still make and receive phone calls. Thanks for your help.

Hey, any update on the issue? like you mentioned that Mods will be back by monday and this is thurs already.

 

Can you please help me in reactivating my sim.I can PM the details, let me know what details would you need from me.
