Can't connect to internet using mobile data

My balance says I have a gig data allowance due to expire tomorrow.  I came back from the UK last Thursday and I can only connect through wifi. I could connect before I went to the UK no problem. I assumed my data had been used up.  Any ideas?  HTC 825.  Phone looks like its connected as it has the 4G icon and looks like its transferring data.

Did you try restarting the device?

Mods may have to tweak the account. Some times this happens after returning from abroad. They'll reply soon.

Hi Ashling,

 

I'm not sure to be honest.  Topped up this morning and can connect through data, but, in my balance it still shows 1 gig promotional data as well as my top up allowance.  It looks like the promotional data didn't kick in after my allowance depleted last Thursday.

Hi Jimmy,

 

I have reviewed your usage and I can confirm that there has been mobile data activity on your account today - this would indicate that your connection issue has now been resolved, you also have 1GB of promotional data available to use (this is due to expire on the 18th of May) and 1GB of data that comes with your package plan.

Thank you. Since I came back from UK though, the promotional data didn't kick in even though my package data had expired. Using package plan data now since I topped up

I would like to advise that any mobile data connection that is made will be taken from your package first, when your package data has been fully used, any further connection will then be taken from your promotional offer. As you have recently renewed your Chat Extra bundle, we would be unable to determine if there are any problems with your promotional bundle until your data has been consumed in your package. Can you please monitor this over the coming days and let us know if you experience any issues accessing your promotional data?

Thanks for your help on this.  I just checked my balance and my promotional data is being used up 1st.  Seems to be using data in reverse order to what you were saying.
